Therm-A-Vent intumescent ventilators protect the integrity of ventilation apertures in fire doors or walls for periods well in excess of 60 minutes. Upon activation under heat, the vents rapidly close-off the passage of fire and smoke through the fire door or barrier.

Therm-A-Vent is supplied in the standard size of 204mm high x 254mm wide x 43mm thick (ex-stock). This provides an airflow aperture of 23,300 square mm. Other sizes are also available to order. Units are supplied without louvre covers to allow complete freedom to match the covers with existing ventilators and or door furniture.

Therm-A-Vent is suitable for

Any timber fire door, wall or floor rated to 30, 60 or 90 minutes in accordance with BS 476.

Therm-A-Vent requires no maintenance other than occasional cleaning to maintain airflow.

Therm-A-Vent has passed numerous tests carried out in accordance with BS 476 : part 28 : 1972 (details available on request).
