Therm-A-Grille intumescent ventilator cores are lightweight units offering excellent airflow characteristics and rapid activation in the event of a fire. They are required wherever ventilation is required through fire rated doors. Upon activation under heat, the cores rapidly close-off the passage of fire and smoke through the fire door.

Therm-A-Grille is supplied in 40mm thick units and in sizes from 100 x 100mm up to 600 x 600mm (and in any size in between, increasing by 50mm steps in width or height).

Therm-A-Grille is suitable for

Any timber fire door, rated to 30 or 60 minutes in accordance with BS 476.

Therm-A-Grille includes flanges for fixing at 150mm centres (for No 8 screws, not supplied).

Therm-A-Grille has passed numerous tests carried out in accordance with BS 476 : part 22 : 1987 (details available on request).
