All of our intumescent seals have been successfully tested in accordance with BS 476. We have test evidence for a vast range of applications - from standard latched & unlatched timber or steel fire doors to more specialised products such as the glass and steel fire doors in the section of railway carriage being prepared for test opposite.

Many of our seals have passed the most demanding tests available in the UK (established by the BSi and Warrington Fire Research Centre). To win Certifire Approval, the seals are put through 100,000 door cycles prior to passing a standard BS 476 fire and smoke test on the furnace. For further details, click the Certifire logo.
