Therm-A-Caulk is a new gun grade intumescent mastic for small scale fire-stopping applications.

Therm-A-Caulk is suitable for making good:

Gaps between fire door frames and adjoining masonry.
Gaps around pipes, cables and ironmongery.
Structural joints in the walls and floors of fire compartments.
Other small scale voids in concrete, steel and timber.

Therm-A-Caulk offers up to 4 hours fire resistance in gaps up to 35mm. It is water based, containing no solvents or halogen compounds and when it expands during a fire to seal a gap, no toxic gases or smoke are emitted. Therm-A-Caulk is easy and clean to apply and can be worked smooth with a wet spatula. It can be over-painted after one hour. Therm-A-Caulk is available in 300 ml tubes, supplied individually or in boxes of 12 and in white finish as standard.

Therm-A-Caulk has passed a comprehensive range of fire tests in various applications carried out by the Warrington Fire Research Centre. Please contact us for details.

H = Horizontal V = Vertical AC = Aerated concrete
HW = Hardwood S = Steel FR = Fire Resistance

For other gaps we recommend the seal's depth is equal to the width of the gap.
