Therm-A-Channel is manufactured from a specially compounded fire resistant elastomer in the form of a dry channel shaped liner (12mm wide x 15mm deep) offering an easily fitted glazing seal for 30 minute fire doors and screens. Therm-A-Channel is particularly well suited to use in circular, semi-circular and other curved glazing pockets (as well as angular apertures).

Therm-A-Channel has been approved for use in FD30 and FD30S fire doors and screens incorporating panes of clear or wired fire safety glass up to 700mm x 800mm. It is placed like a gasket around the edge of each pane of glass and held discretely in place by the beads. No adhesives, sealants, treatments to the beads or other unsightly coatings are required.

Therm-A-Channel is supplied ex-stock in coils of 100m or in increments of 10m in natural black finish.

Therm-A-Channel has passed numerous tests carried out in accordance with BS 476 : parts 20 & 22 (1987). Details are available on request.
